A WORK DAY.

Well went to work the other day and took Tommy and James with me for a day out in the truck.

We went to pick up a 57 foot  Long Boat and move it over 150 miles to a farm and some very nice people Who build the insides up.

The boat was loaded onto a Trombone trailer and after the drive to the farm was lifted by a craine to the ground ready to be fitted out.

Mean while Tommy and James watch the Boat being unloaded and then took alook at the cows They also made friends with the 4 farm dogs.

John his wife,7 year old son Henry and everyone else there made us alll feel very welcome.

  The Boat you see is a shell it's wieght is 10.7 tons when finished it will be about 20 tons. Here is a photo of a boat after ballist,floor & insulation has been added.

Some of the finished boats are hired out for holidays and the others are sold to those who want to own one.To by a finished boat can cost for £60000 upwards.Here are some photos of the inside of a finished boat.

I hope to have some photos sent to me of the boat when it is finished.I was told they only have 54 days to finish this boat which I was told would be lots of late nights and early mornings.They must fit the engine build from scratch bedroom,kitchen,living area,bathroom,as well as fitting the heating system for the boat and for hot water.
